What it costs?
TRAINING SESSIONS:
Classes cost from £4 - £5.50 for juniors (dependant on location and class length), and £6 for seniors.
TRAINING LICENCES / STUDENT REGISTRATION:
Your first licence will cost £33 (£28 for juniors) and includes your annual registration. Your licence is a record of your gradings, competitions, courses and club membership, and also includes your insurance. Insurance must be renewed annually as it becomes due (£28 Snr / £23 Jnr), and students registrations are completed in March (£5).
TRAINING SUIT (gi):
When you start training you can wear loose fitting track suit trousers and a tee-shirt, but in time you will want to get yourself a gi. These vary in price, but adult gi's can cost from around £30, junior gi's are from around £25. Longer lasting heavy weight gi's are also available, usually from around £50. Park Lodge gi's come with club badge embroidered on.
GRADINGS, COURSES, COMPETITIONS:
As you learn you can take gradings to see how you are progressing. Gradings are £7.50 for juniors, £15 for seniors. Students grade as they individually become ready, but as a general rule you will probably grade around every 3 or 6 months intially, depending on how often you train. Courses and competitions vary in price, but may be £15 - £25.
