Welcome to Park Lodge Judo Jujitsu Kai
Park Lodge has trained many students in both judo and jujitsu, based from the original club in Wickford, Essex. Park Lodge is headed by Sensei Chris Harvey, 5th Dan in jujitsu, and 3rd Dan in judo.
Students training at Park Lodge have the opportunity to practice the following areas:
Kano Judo
Grappling, for fun or for competition.
Jikishin Ju-Jitsu
A wide range of self defence techniques.
Ground work
Ground fighting - for competition, and for self defence.
Weapons kata
Traditional Japanese weapons.
Open hand kata
For balance, control, coordination, and concentration.

CONGRATUATIONS FOR PARK LODGE TEAM!
A team of 12 students went to the BJJAGB National Championships on 20th February. The hard work put into training for the competition showed.
We had entries in all the different classes : Random Attacks, Continuous Fighting, open hand and weapons kata, and Pairs Demo. In total the team brought home 7 medals, including two Golds. Well done to all the team and those who supported them.
